George has recently executive produced ‘Falling’, a new six-part romantic drama from BAFTA-winner Jack Thorne, starring Keeley Hawes and Paapa Essiedu for Channel 4. His other Executive Producer credits for the Forge include ‘Just Act Normal’, a six part comedy drama series conceived and written by Janice Okoh for BBC Three and BBC iPlayer, ‘Shardlake’, a four-part series adaptation of the C. J. Sansom series of the same name, for Disney+, ‘Becoming Elizabeth’, an 8-hour original series by Anya Reiss, for Starz, and all five series of ‘Ackley Bridge’ for Channel 4 as well as Jack Thorne’s critically acclaimed trilogy of four-parters for Channel 4 and Hulu: ‘National Treasure’ (which won both the BAFTA and RTS best miniseries awards), ‘Kiri’ and ‘The Accident’. Before joining The Forge in 2014, George was an Executive Producer at the BBC where he developed a raft of projects including the 2016 adaptation of ‘War and Peace’ for BBC One. He produced Sarah Phelps’ BAFTA and EMMY winning adaptation of ‘Great Expectations’, Sandy Welch’s adaptation of ‘Emma’, two series of ‘Silent Witness’, and ‘EastEnders’.
